The new film by Sergei Loznitsa "In the fog" will participate in the main program of the Cannes Film Festival 2012. The film-director is going to perform the film in Vologda, within a third VOICES festival, with the producers Valentina Mihaleva and Haiko Dekker.

Well-known film-director Sergei Losnitsa took part in the first VOICES festival in 2010, was winning it. The previous year he was invited as a jury. This summer he's going to return to Vologda to perform his new film.

"With the help of my colleagues we managed to shoot the film very quickly. It took us only 28 days. I appreciate the help of all people that took part in filming. We all deserve that. Hopefully, the harmony that guided us, will help viewers to understand what we're about", - said Sergei on the official film-website.

The third VOICES festival is dedicated to German culture and cinema.
