VOICES conference and a special showing afterwards have gone off successfully in Vologda

On the 17th of April, the first press-conference of the third VOICES Festival took place in the "SALUT" cinema in Vologda. It was timed to concide with a special showing of a German film "Dreileben" by Christian Petzhold, organized by the Festival direction together with the Goethe cultural center in Russia.
The third VOICES Festival will take place in Vologda from April 6 through 10. The Master-classes, orchestrated by masters of contemporary cinema, will be open to public and will offer round-table discussions.
Korinna Danielou, art-director of Voices Festival, told that Alexander Mindadze, Russian script writer and producer, is invited to participate as a jury.
As in times past, all guests of the Festival will have a possibility to visit open-air displays in the heart of the city – near the Vologda Kremlin and get acquainted with the best films of the european directors. According to Korinna Danielou words, «The sky over Berlin» - the film of the master of a German cinema Wim Wenders, «A tin drum», the philosophical parable of Günter Grass, filmed by German director Folker Shlyondorf, the French film "The Monk" by filmdirector Dominic Mol with Vensan Kasselem in a mane role, are about to be shown at the Festival.
A surprise is awaitening for all guests this year. "We hope you'll enjoy it, it`s connected with anniversary of the Cannes Festival, so we will celebrate it hear, in Vologda in july, worthily", - said Korinna Danielou, art-director of Voices Festival.
The Goethe cultural center in Russia provides you an opportunity to learn German language, acquaints with public and cultural life of Germany, promotes the international cultural cooperation. One of the main objectives of Institute is an intercultural dialogue, the organization and carrying out projects inside the institute and in cooperation with the Russian partners.
